At Christian Brothers Automotive, our auto service franchises are never left without the resources they need to stay on top of this dynamic industry and continue to provide excellent results for our customers. Yes, we provide a robust training program for the franchisees as we begin to roll out a new franchise location and set them up for success—but our support to our franchises doesn't end there. In fact, Christian Brothers Automotive has a staff of more than 60 people at the home office to help stay engaged with our franchise locations and ensure that they are never without the support they need.

Technical Training

Once you have been awarded a Christian Brothers Automotive franchise, you will be provided a wealth of materials to kick start your training. Some of this training will be technical training. You'll learn automotive system basics, common car issues, and what goes into remedying them.

It's important to remember, however, that we're not training you to become a mechanic or technician. These roles will be filled by experienced professionals in your shop. Instead, this technical training will serve an important purpose: to clearly and honestly communicate with customers about their automotive issue and to know what to expect of your managers and team members.

You should be able to communicate to your customer:

  • A basic, but clear, explanation of what is wrong with their vehicle
  • How their auto issue affects operation or contributes to future risks or costs
  • A rough estimate of how long the auto issue will take to resolve
  • Any new necessary parts or replacements associated with the auto issue

Of course, every Christian Brothers Automotive isn't complete without a team of skilled, knowledgeable technicians ready to provide honest, reliable automotive work that gets your customers back on the road as safely and swiftly as possible. We don't expect every franchisee to know what to look for during this hiring process, which is why Christian Brothers Automotive is ready to help.

When it comes time to hire your technician staff, we will send our own automotive expert to your location to help you assess candidates. We've been doing this long enough to know that having a team of top-notch automotive professionals and technicians is key to our success.
