Donnie Carr, President

A native Houstonian, Donnie Carr first began his career at Christian Brothers Automotive over fifteen years ago, working as a Service Writer. This experience gave him the necessary first-hand experience of serving customers with compassion and excellence. Donnie then joined the small but mighty Christian Brothers Automotive Home Office team. With only 12 members, he was able to engage with all pillars of the business from within the operations department–learning development, finance, marketing, and more. In this role, his primary responsibility was assisting with new store openings and providing support to existing locations.

In 2013, Donnie’s hard work and stand-out development results earned him the position of Director of Store Performance. In this position, Donnie oversaw new store growth of 75% by adding 83 stores. Additionally, under Donnie’s leadership, the average unit sales volume also increased by 35%. Most impressive, Christian Brothers Automotive total royalties increased by over 320% during this same time period. As director, he also created a coaching, training, and support team for franchisees that Christian Brothers Automotive still relies on today. Since this program’s development, the coaching team has grown to 8 coaches who champion our franchisees on a daily basis.

In 2016, Donnie’s proven success as Director of Performance led to his promotion to Vice President of Operations. In this position, he was responsible for driving both top- and bottom-line revenue streams for all Christian Brothers Automotive stores. Since 2018, Donnie has served Christian Brothers Automotive as President, leading the company to three consecutive $2 million dollar months for the first time in company history in 2019. Donnie lives in Katy, Texas, with his wife Beth and their two children.

Jonathan Carr, President Christian Brothers Automotive Foundation

Hello! My name is Jonathan Carr and I proudly serve as our President of the Christian Brothers Automotive Foundation. Giving back to the communities we serve is a core component of who we are as a company. Since our founding in 1982, we have used our presence across the country to love our neighbors, and have always found a way to pool our resources together to help.

Our vision is to empower at risk families through the organization’s time, treasure and talent. We are blessed with the opportunity to be able to provide support to families across the globe.

For over a decade, I have had the opportunity to serve with CBA in both franchisee and home office roles. It has been a joy to have spent my career serving customers and supporting the franchise system to accomplish our mission. As a former franchisee, I believe I was able to build great teams by doing my best to love my team as I love myself. While serving in our marketing department, I worked to change the narrative around automotive repair by shining a light on CBA's founding principal, to love our neighbor as ourselves.

My wife, Beth, and daughters, June (3 years) and Georgia (1 month) live and serve in Houston. I enjoy spending my time with my family, reading, and eating buffalo wings.

David Domine, Vice President of Technology Solutions

David Domine, Vice President of Technology Solutions, joined the Christian Brothers Automotive team in 2004 as a Trainer & IT Support Specialist. Equipped with an impressive engineering background, David quickly began effectively implementing technical support systems, along with a variety of strategies to help support Christian Brothers Automotive’s Franchisee Training team. Four years later, in 2008, David was promoted to Director of Training. In this role, David greatly elevated Christian Brothers Automotive’s training programs, growing the average first year store revenue by 33%.

Following his staggering success as Director of Training, David then led the integration of a new technology department at Christian Brothers Automotive in 2018, that has since delivered a series of modernization initiatives, including a new social intranet, digitized vehicle inspections, and new point of sale system.

David is a native Houstonian and currently lives with his wife, Lisa, and three boys in Katy, Texas, where he enjoys spending time outdoors, and playing soccer with his sons.

Jacques Craig, General Counsel

Jacques Craig, head of the Christian Brothers Automotive Legal Department, began practicing law in 1980 at Vinson & Elkins’ Houston office, after graduating from Temple Law School. He quickly made partner just three years later at the law firm of O’Connor, Wisner & Craig, PC. With thirty years of experience representing individuals and businesses engaged across many verticals, including finance, real estate, oil and gas, franchising, mergers and acquisitions, Jacques joined the legal team at Christian Brothers Automotive as General Counsel in 2010.

Jacques and his wife Jill have been happily married for over forty years, and have three children and five grandchildren.

Brad Fink, Vice President of Leadership and Development

A member of the Christian Brothers Automotive family since 2007, Brad Fink first joined the team as a General Manager of the Grand Parkway location in West Houston, before eventually taking over the shop as Franchisee. During his time as a Franchisee, he developed and honed the skills necessary to train other franchisees and their team members in areas of business development, customer service, team leadership and more. Following ten years of working directly with CBA customers, Brad joined the Home Office team as Director of Service Development in January of 2018.

Following success in his role as Director of Service Development, Brad was promoted to Vice President of Leadership and Franchise Development in 2019. In this role, he continues to serve the training department, while also leading the CBA recruitment team in developing markets. Brad and his wife, Kasey, live in Katy, Texas with their four children.

John Foster, CFO

John Foster, CFO of Christian Brothers Automotive, joined the company with a wealth of knowledge and multi-faceted experience in the finance industry. As a finance graduate from Baylor University with over 30 years of leadership in accounting and financial reporting activities, John has coordinated financing activity for projects that include a high security data center, oil field services equipment, and construction real estate projects. A CPA, John has served as either CFO or Controller for a range of Houston markets, including manufacturing/construction, oil and gas, and IT services companies. John joined Christian Brothers Automotive as Controller before earning the promotion of CFO six years later in 2018.

John has served his local community as a church pastor, and enjoys working alongside his wife, Joyce, in a marriage ministry. John and Joyce have five children and eight grandchildren, and live in Cypress, Texas.

Janis Jarosz, Vice President of Marketing

As Vice President of Marketing at Christian Brothers Automotive, Janis Jarosz directs all-digital, local and regional marketing, as well as the company’s communications and brand strategy. Prior to joining the CBA family in 2018, Janis held various marketing and leadership roles with Dignity Memorial, Welcome Wagon, Wingate Inns by Wyndham, and Avis and Budget Car Rental.

For more than 25 years, Janis has introduced thoughtful service offerings and messaging to both launch and reimagine brands that specialize in navigating life’s tiresome or difficult periods. She earned an MBA from New York University in Finance and Marketing and a BA in European Studies from Barnard College, Columbia University. Janis and her husband, Paul, have two children and live in Houston.

Michael Suttle, Chief Development Officer

Chief Development Officer, Michael Suttle, leads the overall brand development strategy, as well as the construction, property procurement, real estate national brokerage network and purchasing department for Christian Brothers Automotive. Prior to joining the Christian Brothers Automotive team in 2013, Michael grew up in Abilene, Texas, attending college at Washington and Lee University, where he was a multiple letter winner on the baseball team. After graduating with a BA in both Economics and History, Michael then spent 17 years in the financial services industry, 10 of which he spent as a shareholder and executive at a national privately-held full-service investment firm. As part of the CBA team, Michael has held a variety of roles, including system-wide projects, transitions, and most recently real estate, where, as Master Agent, he was responsible for site identification and selection in 19 states. Michael and his wife, Adrienne, have four children who are currently attending college.

Michael Allnutt, Vice President of Operations

VP of Operations, Michael Allnutt, leads both the Store Performance Coaching and Transition & Renewal teams and has been part of Christian Brothers Automotive for over 18 years. Beginning as a Service Manager for a local shop in 2001, Michael honed his customer-service skills before eventually opening his own franchise in 2007 with his wife, Natalie. Celebrated as one of the most-awarded franchisees in the company’s history, winning Franchisee of the Year six times, Michael then brought his expertise to the Home Office team in 2018. Leading Christian Brothers operations, Michael is one of the first points-of-contact for franchisees. His team’s main objective is to support, challenge, and drive the operational performance of each location. He and his coaches support each franchisee through consistent coaching, regular performance tracking, and analysis, with an emphasis on creating strategies and capitalizing on opportunities. Michael’s Transition & Renewal Team assists both incoming and outgoing franchisees, ensuring a smooth transition for those acquiring a business and for those choosing to exit.

Outside of Christian Brothers, Michael and Natalie enjoy volunteering their time with two local ministries, Young Lives and Isaiah House. They also enjoy running, hiking, and mountain biking together. Michael and Natalie have been married for over 20 years, and the pair have two sons together - Austen (20) and Brendon (17).

Zach Bynum, Vice President of Neighborly

Zach Bynum, Vice President of Neighborly Christian Brothers Automotive Corporation

As VP of Neighborly, Zach Bynum is uniquely positioned to focus on the CBA Vision, which is “To build a world class company that brings glory to God, is customer-centric, and a light in the auto repair industry." Zach bridges the collective efforts of the CBA Corporation and CBA Foundation to maximize spiritual impact. By donating time, talent and treasure, the CBA Foundation seeks to transform non-profit organizations and the lives of individuals in order to carry out the Christian Brothers Automotive mission of loving your neighbor as yourself. Zach joined the CBA family in March 2007 when he and his wife, Carley, purchased the company’s Georgetown location. After two years as a Franchisee, Zach sold his location to work for the Home Office as a Training Specialist for new Franchisees. In this role, Zach used his experience to train and equip new Franchisees as they entered the business. In 2013, Zach transitioned to Franchise Performance Consultant where he assisted veteran Franchisees in an in-depth coaching role. In 2000, prior to joining Christian Brothers, Zach met the love of his life, Carley, at TBarM Camps. The two married in 2001, shortly before purchasing CBA Georgetown. Zach and Carley have been richly blessed with three children and reside in Katy, Texas. They love their church community where they are grateful to be able to serve in various roles. The two also enjoy spending time with the CBA family.

Mark Carr, CEO

Mark Carr, Christian Brothers Automotive CEO

Mark founded Christian Brothers Automotive in 1982. He began with one small store in Houston, Texas, and now, 30 years later, Mark continues to provide leadership and strategic direction. He had one simple but powerful mission for his company – love your neighbor as yourself. After 30 years, this principle remains the heart of every store, every franchisee and every employee. Mark loves hearing from satisfied customers and enjoys giving back in our communities. Throughout the company’s growth to nearly 100 franchises, with every location still open, he still believes we are in this business to be a partner in auto care for customers. Mark believes the success of the company and the success of franchisees will only continue through a strong connection to faith, superior customer service and a spirit dedicated to strengthening our communities.
