A Year in Review: Celebrating Christian Brothers Automotive’s Growth, Momentum, and Milestones in 2025

As the automotive repair industry continues to evolve, 2025 proved to be a defining year for Christian Brothers Automotive (CBA). From steady franchise development and expansion into new markets to national industry recognition and long-term investments in our people and training, the year reinforced what has always set CBA apart: a commitment to excellence, integrity, and a people-first approach to automotive care.

As we reflect on the past year, we’re proud to celebrate the milestones and accomplishments that shaped 2025 and helped position our brand for continued momentum in the years ahead.

Driving Intentional Growth Across the Franchise Network

Growth at Christian Brothers Automotive has always been purposeful, and 2025 was no exception. Throughout the year, we opened 24 new shops, expanding CBA’s footprint while maintaining the operational standards and guest experience we strive to deliver.

In addition to new shop openings, the CBA franchise system executed 52 letters of intent, signaling strong interest from prospective franchise owners and a robust pipeline for future development. CBA also welcomed 15 new franchisees into the network and successfully transitioned 17 markets to new ownership, reinforcing system stability and sustained demand across the brand.

Notably, development agreements in Las Vegas and Reno marked an exciting milestone for our network, introducing CBA to our 32nd state entry once those locations open. These expansions reflect continued demand for trustworthy, full-service automotive repair across the country.

A Brand Recognized by the Industry and by Guests

Beyond growth, 2025 was a standout year for industry recognition. Christian Brothers Automotive continued to earn accolades that underscore both operational excellence and guest trust.

Among the year’s highlights:

  • Ranked No. 74 on Entrepreneur’s 2025 Top Franchises for Veterans list
  • Ranked No. 92 on Franchise Times’ Top 400
  • Named #1 in Customer Satisfaction among Aftermarket Full-Service Maintenance and Repair Providers by J.D. Power for the sixth time in a row*

This latest J.D. Power recognition marks a significant achievement, as CBA remains the only aftermarket automotive repair brand to earn the top ranking since the category’s inception. For franchisees and guests alike, this distinction reflects the consistency, care, and transparency that define the CBA experience.

Investing in the Future of Automotive Repair

In 2025, CBA doubled down on our commitment to workforce development and long-term innovation with the announcement of a 12-million-dollar Technology & Training Center in Katy, Texas, slated to open in early 2027. This state-of-the-art facility will support advanced technician training, leadership development, and system-wide education, ensuring franchisees and team members are equipped to meet the evolving needs of today’s vehicles and guests.

CBA also continued expanding its shop air-conditioning initiative, with more than 150 locations retrofitted to date, further enhancing technician comfort, operational efficiency, and workplace excellence across the system.

Development Focus for 2026

As momentum carries into the new year, Christian Brothers Automotive is actively prioritizing development in several key territories, including:

  • New Berlin, Wisconsin
  • Mechanicsville, Virginia
  • Derby, Kansas
  • Shoreview, Minnesota
  • Blaine, Minnesota
  • Winterville, North Carolina
  • Rincon, Georgia
