Out with the Old (Scheduler System)
Like the majority of other automotive care concepts, our previous appointment scheduling system did not operate in real-time. Previously, when guests wanted to make an appointment at their local CBA shop, they were directed to fill out a form on the website and request up to two appointment times. Guests would then need to wait to hear back from the shop, and, in some cases, an alternative time had to be suggested based on the shop’s availability.
*The New Scheduling System*
The goal we had in mind when configuring our new scheduling system was to make the entire process easier and more convenient for our guests and shop team members. The new online scheduler shows real-time availability, similar to reservation type apps like Resy and OpenTable. Thanks to this industry-leading method, guests can now simply choose the services needed for their vehicle, select a displayed time that works best for them and the appointment is automatically confirmed. The reduction in back-and-forth between the guest and shop cuts back on their waiting time and improves internal operations at the shop.
Our improved scheduler has also enabled our guests to easily reschedule or cancel appointments as needed, providing them with greater flexibility and control over their time. CBA is proud to offer a more convenient and efficient way for guests to manage their appointments and interact with their local shop.
In addition to being convenient for our guests, the updated scheduler has significantly improved internal operations for our franchisees. The automated booking process reduces the need for manual data entry and administrative tasks, while also saving time and decreasing the probability for clerical errors.
