Christian Brothers Automotive Franchisee Cal Pascanu and his wife, Lenka, recently marked their location’s one-year anniversary with a month-long celebration. Throughout March, Christian Brothers Automotive gave free oil changes – up to $50 – to the first 100 single mothers, veterans, teachers, police officers, firefighters and first responders who applied.
Embracing the brand’s faith-based mission, Cal believes customers should be treated fairly and has their best interest at heart by providing a transparent process and outstanding customer service.
“I take pride in what I do,” Cal says. “My wife and kids, we carry Christ’s name on the building and we have to do our best. For our kids, it’s a fun thing to take part in the business…We want to be a light in people’s lives.”
An immigrant from Romania, Cal spent 15 years gaining automotive expertise at various dealerships where he quickly moved up the professional ladder due to his innate ability to connect with customers and employees. Wanting to own their own business, Cal and Lenka started the franchise process with Christian Brothers Automotive in 2015. Cal, Lenka and their two sons moved to Arizona to open Christian Brothers Automotive of Peoria-Thunderbird in 2018.
Christian Brothers Automotive is currently seeking franchisees to open stores in the Lockport, IL; Greenwood, IN; Mt. Juliet, TN; and Maple Grove, MN areas. Entrepreneurially-spirited individuals like Cal and his wife who are interested in learning more about how they can join the award-winning automotive franchise can fill out an information request form here.
