Guided by our mission to “Love your neighbor as yourself,” we recently donated oil changes and other free services to individuals in need as part of our ninth annual systemwide National Service Day event.
“I’ve been inspired by the thoughtful ways that our franchisees have chosen to give back to their communities,” said Donnie Carr, president of Christian Brothers Automotive. “When we started, we thought we’d just give away a few free oil changes, but over time National Service Day has grown into so much more. For example, one franchisee last year donated over 70 new sleeping bags and brought in truckloads of blankets and clothes for a local homeless shelter.”
Launched in 2005, and solidified as an organization-wide event in 2010, National Service Day has become a keystone of our brand as our entire company now takes part every year. Built as a way to positively affect local communities, our franchisees coordinate with local organizations and churches to identify community members who would benefit from free oil changes or other services.
We’re grateful to have built a strong network of franchisees who share our values, and now is your opportunity to join our success. Ideal Christian Brothers Automotive franchise candidates are strong leaders and prioritize giving back and engaging with their local community in order to ultimately make a difference for everyone around them.
