NATIONAL AUTOMOTIVE REPAIR FRANCHISE LAUNCHES ONLINE CONTEST TO REWARD TEACHERS
Remember that teacher you had growing up, the one who made a profound difference in your life by seeing something in you that no one else saw? Almost everyone has that story, that favorite teacher who helped them grow in ways they couldn’t imagine. Teachers create such an impact in our lives and on our communities, and that’s why Christian Brothers Automotive decided to say thank you by holding an “Apples for Teachers” contest.
We used our Facebook page to take submissions from our customers and fans, inviting them to share, in 250 words or less, how their favorite teacher or staff member has made a difference in the lives of their students and their community. This year’s grand prize winner is Effie Schneider, a first grade teacher at New Braunfels Christian Academy in New Braunfels, Texas, who received an iPad Mini, a $250 gift card to Staples, a $250 gift certificate to Christian Brothers, and a pizza party for her entire school.
Congratulations, and thank you, Effie!
“Christian Brothers Automotive is devoted to supporting our local communities, and we couldn’t think of a better way to do that than by rewarding hard-working teachers,” says Mark Carr, founder and CEO of Christian Brothers Automotive. “With this contest, our goal is to show our support for local schools, and to reward the deserving teachers who are helping to shape the future of this country.” Nine other teachers also won gifts from Christian Brothers.
Founded in Houston in 1982, Christian Brothers is a national automotive repair franchise that bases its business practices on a core philosophy of honesty, integrity, reliability and exceptional customer service. We provide full-service automotive diagnostic testing and evaluation, maintenance programs and repair work for all domestic and foreign vehicles, and we pride ourselves on providing a pleasant, professional and clean automotive service experience every time. We put families first, so all our locations operate during traditional working hours but are closed on weekends so owners and employees can share quality family time.
We serve the community, and we love giving back, so giving our customers a way to share their admiration and support for teachers was wonderful, and providing a reward to a few of those legions of teachers was a treat for us.
Christian Brothers Automotive began franchising in 1997, and since that time we have grown to more than 100 locations across the United States, with dozens more in development. That growth not only allows us to build more success for more owners — it also helps us bring our spirit of Christian service to more communities, and to support those communities the same way that communities have supported us. Christian Brothers has built a great business model and partnered with wonderful people over the years, and our many blessings are reflected in the fact that we’ve never closed a location.
