FRANCHISE RESEARCH SITE NAMES CHRISTIAN BROTHERS AUTOMOTIVE FRANCHISE BEST BET
Franchise Gator, a website devoted to franchise industry research and news, has named Christian Brothers Automotive a top franchise to its 2015 Top 100 list.
It’s no wonder that we’re a highly rated, faith-based auto repair franchise. In our unique financial model, our Christian franchise assumes a majority of the risk by purchasing and constructing “built-to-suit” buildings, which the franchisee manages. Management doesn’t charge a franchisee based on top-line revenues like virtually every other franchisor, but on a share of profits, calculated after expenses. Franchisees also pay themselves a salary before they pay the franchisor a nickel.
“Auto repair franchises have proven to be a very stable investment over time,” says CEO Mark Carr. “We have never had a location close, and we are even ranked the No. 1 auto repair franchise by Franchise Business Review.”
Franchise Gator ranked top Christian franchise Christian Brothers 16th overall. The list is based on several variables, including financial stability, transparency, engagement, continuity and sustainability. The online directory evaluated franchise opportunities that fit the mold for its visitors’ searches by taking investment range and industry into account.
Christian Brothers has been franchising since 1996. We celebrated 30 years in business and opened our 100th store in 2012. By 2013 we’d grown to more than 110 store locations in 12 states with more than 30 stores in development in six new states. Now, in 2015, we have more than 135 operating stores in 18 states and counting.
Franchisees receive nearly 250 hours of training focused on leadership and business management, organization and computer software, customer service, automotive systems, bookkeeping and human resources, marketing, operations and sales. We send automotive experts to our Christian franchises to help with the hiring process. Our financial software allows the headquarters team to monitor the financial health of each franchise and to provide coaching for maximum profits and business growth.
“It’s a successful franchise model that helps you succeed and be profitable,” said Christian Brothers franchisee Ed Pate of Germantown, Tennessee, a suburb near Memphis. “It’s also good for someone who would like a faith-based company and is interested in giving back and working with a company that also gives back.”
