CHRISTIAN BROTHERS FRANCHISEES JARED AND MANDY SEAMAN OF FISHERS, INDIANA, INTERVIEWED BY RESPECTED BUSINESS PUBLICATION
Christian Brothers franchisees Jared and Mandy Seaman are exclusively featured in this year’s Top 200 Franchise Companies List compiled by Franchise Business Review, a franchise market research firm. Christian Brothers made the top 200 and earned Best in Category honors in the automotive industry for the fourth straight year.
Christian Brothers is a highly rated, faith-based auto repair franchise with a unique financial model. We assume a majority of the startup risk by constructing “built-to-suit” buildings, which the franchisee then manages. We don’t charge a franchisee from the top-line revenues like virtually every other franchisor, but from a share of the profits, which are calculated after expenses. Franchisees also pay themselves a salary before they pay the franchisor a nickel.
The Fishers, Indiana, couple were photographed with their children in a Christian Brothers company car and were the subjects of a Q&A feature. Franchise Business Review asked them questions ranging from “Why did you decide to buy a franchise?” to “What advice do you have for prospective franchise buyers?”
The couple told the research firm that purchasing a Christian Brothers franchise was the best way to fulfill their professional and personal goals. They chose to pursue a business venture with Christian Brothers because of its “ethical standards and overall Christian-servanthood approach to business.”
The best part of their job, they said, is the ability to show the customers and the automotive team a “love your neighbor as yourself” mentality. Jared’s father taught him the fundamentals of business leadership and cultivated in him a passion for Christian-servanthood.
In the long run, the Seamans want to make the Fishers, Indiana, site a $2 million location and open another store in the Indianapolis area.
The Seamans told Franchise Business Review that when prospective franchisees are looking for the right company, they ought to find one that provides “unparalleled support and dedication.” Their one word to describe owning a franchise was “advantageous.”
