THE STEHRS, THE KLAUBERTS AND THE COOKS ARE EXCELLENT EXAMPLES OF SUCCESSFUL COUPLES IN BUSINESS
Business ownership can provide a special bond between spouses, especially when the company’s values align with the couple’s personal and professional beliefs. This Valentine’s Day, Christian Brothers would like to celebrate some of our franchisees who do an excellent job running their business with their significant other.
Amy Stehr and her husband, Mark, own two Christian Brothers locations serving Rockwall and Forney, Texas as well as the surrounding areas. With the goal to keep their business as simple as doing the right thing in the community, the Stehrs felt Christian Brothers’ values, support and common faith were the key components to why they chose to work the franchise to open their first business. “We’re family,” says Amy about Christian Brothers.
Brian and Nola Klaubert are another example of a successful couple in business. The Klauberts have several Christian Brothers locations in Georgia and are very well trusted as an automotive service in their community. Brian is a full-certified master technician – the highest ranking in automotive – and a licensed professional engineer. Nola’s background in accounting was easily adapted to their Christian Brothers business. In addition to their professional experience, the Klauberts attribute their success to the auto industry’s recession-proof offerings and Christian Brothers’ strong support system.
Jud Cook and his wife, Jenny, are not only a great business team, but also an incredible example of how Christian Brothers works to help military veterans run successful automotive franchises. Following Jud’s retirement from the military, the Cooks wanted to find an opportunity that aligned well with their morals and values, while minimizing the risk of starting everything from scratch. With Jud’s love of cars and need for a values-oriented company, Christian Brothers was just the right fit. Jud and Jenny now own one Christian Brothers location with another in development in Florida. According to Jud, the advantage of an automotive franchise is that it’s fairly recession-proof, so it can weather the ups and downs of economic swings. “Christian Brothers is looking for partners who can grow with the company and want to do things the right way,” Jenny says.
And that’s exactly the kind of commitment that Christian Brothers delivers as it expands to new locations around the country. This Valentine’s Day, consider the benefits of entering business as a couple – and how Christian Brothers can help you reach that goal.
