Our new franchisee training program is a robust start to your time with Christian Brothers Automotive, but our support doesn’t end there!
We maintain a Home Office team of more than 150 people who stay engaged with our franchise owners and ensure they’re never without the support they need. Each Christian Brothers Automotive franchisee gets dedicated support from our team in the critical areas of recruitment, operational coaching, marketing, and accounting for the entirety of their franchise agreement. Each franchisee is also a part of a franchisee peer group from the onset of their opening.
Around the first year anniversary of their business opening, our franchisees will come back to our home office in Houston, TX to gather for three days filled with peer group time, business evaluation, fun, and fellowship. Throughout the life of your time as a franchisee, there will be times each year you’ll gather with your franchisee peer group and some of our home office support team to “talk shop” and learn from fellow owners. Additionally, we host an all-franchisee convention at a different destination each year where we gather to hear from keynote speakers, share best practices, celebrate achievements, fellowship together, all while having tons of fun!
Since the majority of Christian Brothers Automotive’s franchise owners don’t have auto industry experience or previous business-ownership experience, we go above and beyond to provide our franchisees with a wealth of resources to operate their businesses with confidence. These include resources such as basic automotive technical raining, team leadership training, guest experience training, sales training, and more.
The goal of our training is to help our franchise owners increase their confidence and competency to enable them to clearly and honestly communicate with their team and their guests. And we don’t just reserve our training for our franchisees - we offer training for the entire franchise team! From sales and guest service training for your front office staff to skilled technical training for your technicians, our nationally-recognized offerings ensure the best practices for each role on the team are coached and always readily available. We accomplish this through live training events at our offices in Houston, regional training events in the field, as well as through our first-class online learning and development platform, The Flywheel.

Prior to opening your location we’ll begin sourcing potential team members for each role in your shop, and then partner with you in the initial interviewing process. While we’ll never hire your team members (they’re yours, not ours!), we will equip you with the understanding necessary so you can make an educated decision on who exactly you’re looking for. An ideal Christian Brothers Automotive team member is one who values honesty, integrity, and reliability. They are also experienced and skilled in the critical areas of guest service and vehicle diagnosis and repair. We know the key to our shops’ success is not only a great franchisee, but a great franchisee leading a fantastic team.
