Starting your own quality auto repair business is no small feat. Christian Brothers Automotive is there for you every step of the way during the franchise process. We go above and beyond to provide our franchise owners with the resources they need to open an auto repair business and thrive, whether that’s through our comprehensive training, continuous support or building your facility from the ground up.
Our approach to opening an auto repair franchise that’s poised for success takes care and precision. We don’t just buy existing auto repair facilities, change the sign, and call it a day. Christian Brothers Automotive carefully selects and purchases land based on our site selection guidelines and the recommendations of our expert real estate team. We’re known in the industry for making this a top priority in our new store development program.
We then design and build a facility that meets the standards we know will best serve our franchisees and future guests. This all-in process takes approximately 18 to 24 months. You can be assured our commitment to this critical undertaking to bring a Christian Brothers Automotive to your community will be achieved thoroughly and properly. Even within a competitive commercial real estate market, we’re able to compete without deviating from our site selection criteria. In addition to our real estate criteria, serious consideration is given to important factors such as demographics, psychographics, property size, price, zoning, traffic counts, and more.
We’ve never closed any of our 250+ locations, and we believe that our due diligence with this process is part of the reason why. And the best part is that this all happens without you having to leave your current place of employment. You’ll be informed of the progress every step of the way and we’ll guide you on when to leave your current job and turn your attention to CBA full time.
Once you make your initial investment, we’ll begin the site selection process for your Christian Brothers Automotive location. At any point in time we may also have SPEC sites available around the country that are further along in the development process and will serve to reduce this overall timeline.
Our in-house real estate team will research local demographics and traffic patterns, locate primary competitors, and conduct an aerial tour to ensure that the site meets our standards.
Our legal team will negotiate the contract with the seller for the qualified site.
We’ll conduct our formal due diligence process of the land and create civil, architectural, and building plans for the proposed site. We’ll work with the local governments and agencies to secure necessary building permits and variances.
We’ll help you procure your building permits and secure the construction of your new location! At the completion of this phase, there will be city inspections and a Certificate of Occupancy will be awarded.
Congratulations! You’re ready and open for business!
Our friendly, dedicated team has the answers.
